An outdoor screen has one job: get read from across the street.

Outdoor digital signage is the hardest working advert you can buy. It pulls people in from the pavement, changes in seconds, and never takes a day off. But outdoors is unforgiving, and most screens are not built for it.

A standard TV in a shop window washes out the moment the sun hits it, and overheats behind glass. Get the brightness wrong and your message disappears at midday. Get the weatherproofing wrong and the first hard winter finishes it off. There is a real difference between a domestic screen and a commercial-grade outdoor display rated for the job.

Brightness, weather rating, mounting, power: each one has to match the exact spot the screen will stand. That is why it pays to have the conversation before you buy, not after.

Tell us where it is going and we will spec a display that stays readable, all day, all year.

What our clients say

"James approached us with a range of media screens and software solutions whilst we were wrestling with a challenging project brief. Through collaborative working he developed a suite of screens and a media solution that worked for our estate, enabling us to land these quickly and cost effectively into a concept store and subsequent model roll-out. His expertise and knowledge of the digital retail world was extremely beneficial, and his advice and guidance was invaluable as we charted unfamiliar territory."

Common questions

How bright does an outdoor screen actually need to be?

It depends on where it faces. A shaded entrance needs far less than a south-facing window in full sun. Domestic TVs sit around 300 to 500 nits and wash out outdoors. Our outdoor displays run much brighter, and we spec the exact brightness for your location so it stays readable at midday.

Will it survive the British weather?

Yes. Our outdoor displays are commercial-grade and weather-rated, built to handle rain, cold and heat running all day, every day. They are a different class of product to a household screen put behind glass, which is exactly why we do not recommend that route.

Do I need mains power, or is battery an option?

Both are available. Where running a cable is awkward, our battery-powered A-boards let you site a screen anywhere and simply charge it. Where mains is easy, a fixed freestanding or wall-mounted display is usually the better value.

What does an outdoor display cost?

Outdoor wall-mounted menu boards start from around £1,659 and battery A-boards from £2,750, up to large freestanding units. The consultation is free, we offer a price guarantee, and finance packages are available to spread the cost.

Can you supply drive-thru and forecourt menu boards?

Yes. We supply sunlight-readable outdoor menu boards designed for drive-thru lanes and forecourt catering, along with the software to update pricing and offers in seconds.

Where are you based, and do you cover my area?

We are based in Corby, Northamptonshire, and supply businesses right across the UK, from independent shops and takeaways to national retail brands.
